Matt began his business journey at age 8, delivering milk with his dad in suburban Detroit. After earning his degree from CMU, he moved north to teach and coach at Petoskey High School, retiring in 2015 but continuing as Boys Varsity Basketball Coach. Now a trusted real estate professional with Kidd & Leavy, Matt is known for his dedication, humor, and expert negotiation skills, helping clients create lasting Northern Michigan memories.
His wife Cindy leads educational bike rides for youth with the Top of Michigan Trails Council. Daughter Kerby, a physical therapist and coach, lives in Petoskey with her husband Mike, a teacher and coach, and their kids Mac and Jack. Their son Teddy is Assistant Director of the Harbor Springs Historical Society.
