Born in Petoskey and raised on Walloon Lake and Bay Harbor, Tommy has deep roots in Northern Michigan. He attended St. Francis and Petoskey High School, where he and his father, Wally, co-founded Petoskey Lacrosse. Tommy earned his degree from the University of Michigan’s School of Information and later completed his Masters of Business Management at the Ross School of Business, serving as class president. He built a successful B2B tech sales career in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Austin, consistently ranking among top performers.
Now back home, Tommy is restoring a historic 1940s-era residence in downtown Petoskey. He works alongside his father, Wally Kidd, and business manager Lauren Simon, specializing in luxury real estate across Northern Michigan. With local insight and a strong business background, Tommy brings a fresh, professional approach to the market.
